Ardmore parents to get online option for tracking school buses

ARDMORE, Okla. (KTEN) — Ardmore City Schools (OK) will be gradually equipping school buses with new technology to keep track of students and vehicles.

Officials say the move is to increase student safety.

Transfinder’s app for parents, Stopfinder, will help develop bus routes for drivers, and give parents an opportunity to be notified when their child is on a bus, or if it’s running late by going online.

District officials say they plan for the program to be fully implemented by the end of the upcoming school year.
